Technology  has become a tool that makes life easier for all people in different context; for example, in education, the use of the internet in the process of teaching-learning is very escential for on-line classes , this process where people learn through the internet is called "E-learning." An advantage of this method is that the person, who is taking on-line classes, has the important option to do it in their home or in wherever place he or she is. This person only needs to have a computer and internet to make this process possible. But in the process of teaching-learning, teachers play an important role to make the students´learning meaningful. some of the roles that teachers play in the E-learning process are the following; Designers, Process facilitator, Assessor.

The role of Designer is when the teacher designs worthwhile learning task (‘Pre-course’ activity). In other words, the teacher chooses the best option of tools that can be used to rich the objectives.
 Theachers design their areas in which the students have to be engage in the activities that the teachers provide in the webzone.

The role of Process facilator is when the teacher welcoming, establishing ground rules, creating community, managing communication, modeling social behavior, establishing own identity. Because the teaches know exactly what they want to achieve at the end of the course, they prepare an environment where the students can work under some parameters that teachers have prepare before. The students are where the teachers want to.


The role of Assessor is when the teacher provides grades and feedback. This is very important for both; the teachers and students. The teacher must know if the students are improving their knowledge through the course and take care if the things are not doing well. On the other hand, the students want to know their grades because by naturalness all of the students want to know their results in every activity they develop. In this case, they are hungry of getting more knowledge. Providing feedback to students is to let them know about the problems and to make them be conscious.


This method of E-learning is very useful for people that don´t have the time to attend classes in a normal schedule, so they don´t have another option to do it in this way. But this method has had good results. This depends of the efforts that students and the teachers do in order to achieve their goals in their life.
